A visual photo story of how the 'Lockdown' and 'Unlock' in Mumbai changed the entire face of The City That Never Sleeps. The 'Lockdown' and 'Unlock' are the various stages experienced by the people of India during the global Coronavirus pandemic. The strict regulations of staying indoors, practicing social distancing, and wearing masks while outside certainly did change many relations and countless lives. But the most intriguing and somewhat devastating sights were of the Mumbai's dearest locations, only without its lively charm, it's PEOPLE.

BOMBAY THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS

Bombay, Bambai, Bom Bahia (literally translating to Good Bay in Portuguese) or MUMBAI, call it by whatever name you wish, but there is no other feeling like calling yourself a Mumbaikar. A Mumbaikar is a special term because this is probably the only place in the country that welcomes one and all, who wishes to dream and achieve something in life. It is almost like a warm hug to be a part of this city and to match pace with the heartbeats of the people that make this city a dream to live in.
